About Candid

If you thought photo booths were fun, this is the next level. Candid is an incredible space in Notting Hill where you can shoot self-portraits with a professional camera in a gorgeous and fun studio. It’s the perfect way to make some fabulous memories with your hens or bridal party and walk away with amazing, IG-worthy photos.

Sisters Aimee & Lily started Candid in 2023 after they discovered South Korean self-portrait studios on a trip to Seoul. They created Candid as a self-love project. For yourself, for your friends, your family, your dog, your brand. They envision Candid hosting the most diverse array of people and their stories, flitting through the door and creating a touch of magic before the leave.

How does Candid work?

Show up, strike a pose, shoot & print! It’s as simple as that really.

You can book 15, 30 or 60-minute shoots in the Candid studio online, which fit a maximum of 5 people. You can choose add-ons, extra props and editing services too.

It’s great for small and intimate hen parties or a moment with your bridesmaids. We also work with the Candid team to create an option to take turns together with the bride if you’re a bigger group, while everyone else has a coffee in the cafe downstairs - get in touch to find out more about that.

A waste-free hen party activity

As well as being an empowering self-love experience for everyone, we adore Candid as a hen party activity because it’s zero-waste.

Lot’s of activities will have you making things you won’t use again, but Candid brings all the fun, laughs and joy, and you walk away feeling great and with photos to last forever - and that’s enough.

They even provide bridal props from our friends at Favoured London and some of our own HWH Bride T-Shirts - so you literally don’t have to buy anything to create a hen party photoshoot.
