Help end hygiene poverty by donating beauty products & volunteering.

About Beauty Banks

Beauty Banks exists to end hygiene poverty in the UK. They take surplus personal care products from the beauty industry, donations from the general public and a mix of essential products purchased by Beauty Banks. They then sort and deliver these toiletries to around 450 frontline charities, community groups, schools and prisons. In doing this toiletries that would have gone to waste are reaching vulnerable people or those who simply cannot afford to buy personal care products.

Volunteer with Beauty Banks

Your hen party can help Beauty Banks make a positive impact by volunteering with them at their warehouse unit in Croydon for a few hours. You’ll help to sort, pick and pack toiletries that will be passed on to charities and community groups who distribute them to people who need them.

If you’re planning a hen do in London or the South East this is a wonderful, easy and budget-friendly activity for your hens to do that will keep them busy for a few hours and leave them with a feel-good factor that’ll last all weekend.

Hens with Heart supports Beauty Banks

If you can’t volunteer, your hen party can still support Beauty Banks by easily donating toiletries and other personal care items through their many collection points across the UK.

Asking your hens to make a small collection of items and bringing them along to the hen do is such a simple and cheap way to do something good that makes a huge impact to someone else. Donations can be dropped off at Superdrug or sent via their DropPoint service - see all the donation information on their website.
