Fast Fashion Therapy

Sustainable sewing workshops for your hen party in London.

About Fast fashion Therapy

Fast Fashion Therapy is a sewing workshop that encourages the repair, upcycling and remodelling of your clothes, to help you break the habit to always buy new. You’ll learn skills like darning and patching to help you add more life to the clothes you already own and love.

Eleanor & Sarah are friendly, experienced and creative seamstresses, who wanted to create a workshop as a space that acted as a practical therapy for our addiction to fast fashion. The workshop also offers a therapeutic space for slowing down and taking a more mindful approach to fashion.

What is a sustainable sewing workshop?

A sustainable sewing workshop will give you the skills to fix and patch up the clothes you love that may have worn out, meaning you can give more life to things in your wardrobe instead of buying new. The aim is to help us curb our addiction to fast fashion, whilst also learning some relaxing sewing skills that can be very therapeutic!

In a couple of hours your hens will have learnt how to darn so you can fix holes in knitwear and socks, and to patch up holes in things like jeans and shirts with decorative sewing techniques. You will take home some new sewing skills after the hen party that’ll last a lifetime, and help you become long-term sustainable fashion addicts!
