About Closit
Closit is an iPhone app that helps you organise, find and attend closet sale events near you! A closet sale can be organised by anyone, and is an event where one or more people sell some of the clothing they don't wear anymore, rather than donating their items or disposing of them.
By attending closet sales you feed your style (and social life) while saving cash, but also support someone else in cleaning out their closet. Plus, you help make the fashion industry more sustainable by buying second hand.

How to organise A clothes Swap with Closit
Make sure you’ve downloaded the Closit app, and the instructions are in there!
You can run your sale privately for your hens, or host a public sale for others to attend.
Ensure that the location you choose for your sale is appropriate - if you want to do it at a house you’re renting for the weekend you might need to check with the owner first.
You’ll need to make sure you have enough hangers and clothes rails for all the clothes you want to put out.
Consider bringing an iron or hand steamer so the clothes look appealing when they’re for sale.
What to do with leftover clothes?
Much like a typical clothes swap, we don’t want any unwanted items to end up in the bin. Donate any clothes to your local charity shop, like Oxfam who Hens with Heart works in aid of.
